Are you a seasoned Web Designer, focused in UX/UI design and development, with strong experience in corporate Intranet? Our Vancouver client, a prominent member of the public sector, is seeking to hire a UX Consultant (Intranet) on a long term contract with high potential for extension. What will you do?
As a UX Consultant with our Vancouver client, you will:
•Lead the visioning process to define a product roadmap by understanding and advocating for user needs across multiple business areas.
•Review Information architecture and recommendations.
•Develop and lead UX workshops.
•Create personas, journey maps, user stories and other related deliverables.
•Conduct usability testing in-person and remotely.
•Work with our development team to prototype, test and iterate on interface designs.
•Analyze and summarize data sets from research.
•Create materials for stakeholders, summarizing key findings.
•Present research and findings.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the UX Consultant role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
•5-7 years’ experience in web design: including 3 or more intranet projects.
•A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX product and service design process.
•Understanding of user-centered design development framework.
•Experience using prototyping tools: Axure, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
•Experience with agile development.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Exemplary analytical, problem solving and research skills.

What additional experience do you bring?
To be considered for the UX Consultant role with our Vancouver client, it’s beneficial to have:
•Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint Online.
•Experience working for public agencies and/or social service organizations.
