    Randstad is hiring Warehouse Associate for one of our client located in Burnaby.

    If you have experience working in warehouse with shipping receiving and operating forklift, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

    It is a full time job with long term availability and will be offered extended benefits after succesful probationary period.

    Mondays - Friday
    08:00 am - 4:30 pm
    Wage: $22-$24/hour

    Responsibilities
    What you will be doing:

    - The distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
    - Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition.
    - Gather, verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
    - The record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
    - Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
    - Complete written and computerized documentation.

    Qualifications
    - Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    - Requires at least 1-year related experience.
    - Strongly prefer forklift certification or must be willing to be trained.
    - Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
    - Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
    - A valid driver’s license with a good driving record may be required.
    - Able to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
    - Effective verbal communication skills.
    - Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
