Our client is looking to hire a warehouse associate in Peterborough. This is a fulltime, Monday to Friday, daytime role.
You must have : Two to five years experience in an inventory control our purchasing role
Shipping and receiving or delivery experience minimum 2 years

Provide an outstanding customer experience by working with the onsite team and lead buyer
Investigate product as required by Customer and Purchase from qualified vendors
Expedite and track all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery,
Provide storeroom assistance to employees requiring product
Manage stores items, stock prep, look up and put away and removal
Manage RFID portal
Lean and use multiple computer purchasing and inventory management software for purchasing, vending and expediting
Continually strive for process improvement and cost savings while maintaining/improving customer service
Other duties as required
Hours of operation would be 7:30 till 3:30 Monday to Friday
** Note: The facility our client is working within has several stories, in which stair climbing is required. **

Responsibilities

Maintain an organized, clean and safe warehouse
Working on computers and RF scanners, etc
Receive and return deliveries and account for all items
Sort and store inventory
Receive items in the computer system to show which items are available for customers
Stock vending machines with PPE materials
Deliver parcels/packages to employees throughout facility
Grow your skills and career through business and personal development courses and activities
Share your big ideas, learn from your mistakes, ask for help and lend a hand when needed
Qualifications
2-5 years experience in an inventory control our purchasing role
Good attitude
Willingness to do a good job, work hard and learn
Dependable and reliable - you show up for work on time for each shift
Shipping and receiving or delivery experience (can be in a warehouse, a delivery agent/driver)
