One of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Stoney Creek, Ontario is looking for a Distribution Warehouse Associate to permanently join their warehouse team.
You will be receiving products from a variety of vendors into inventory using a handheld RF scanner. You will also be required to pick orders, and package sales orders for shipping to customers in conjunction with a manifest and WMS system. As well the role will require the employee to operate forklifts in the warehouse.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for a variety of warehousing and distribution center activities ranging from receiving to shipping.
• Responsibilities may include inventory control, expediting, order preparation, hazardous shipment packing and documentation order processing.
• Operating forklifts to assist with loading and offloading trucks when needed.
• Order picking product in the warehouse with RF scanner and packaging for shipments.
Qualifications
What do we require?
• 2-3 years of Shipping/Receiving experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with RF Scanner
• Working knowledge of shipping systems using FedEx and Purolator
• Comfortable on a computer and data entry skills required
• Proof of accuracy and attention to detail is extremely important for this role
• Ability to take direction/ability to follow instructions
• Completed High school Diploma
• Experience operating a forklift asset
