    We are looking for a Warehouse Manager / Plant Manager to join our team in Surrey, BC.
    The Warehouse Manager will report to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for managing warehouse functions, managing the manufacturing department, inventory, production quality, warehouse safety procedures and more.

    About the company:
    We design and manufacture equipment for pulp and paper, and sawmill industries.

    Position: Warehouse Manager / Plant Manager
    Location: Surrey
    Shift: Monday to Friday
    Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 /year (depending on experience)

    Responsibilities
    - Direct and manage the company resources under his/her control to achieve predetermined objectives of scope, labour cost, material cost, delivery time, and quality for all orders selected.
    - Maintaining a skilled workforce is an ongoing responsibility through the selective hiring of new people.
    - Work closely with the Production Manager on the management of unionized workers, warehouse improvements, capital projects, physical storage and movement of Inventory.
    - Responsible for assuring that suitable procedures have been adopted to ensure safe performance of all work done.
    - Responsible for conducting performance evaluations and submitting salary recommendations for the staff. Also, oversee labour relations with Unionized staff.
    - Motivating and monitoring his subordinates to improve efficiency of production by introducing new methods of manufacturing.

    Qualifications
    - 3+ years of experience in warehouse management
    - Strong lean manufacturing experience (TQM, Lean, Project Management, Planning experience)
    - Manufacturing background would be preferred
    - Understanding of Scheduling
    - Experience working in an unionized environment
