Responsibilities
-Answer all incoming phone calls and direct phone inquiries.
-Have general accounting knowledge in order to process client credit card payments, match
receivable and payable paperwork, reconcile vendor statements, prepare and post bank
deposits, reconcile company credit card statements, and collections.
-Learn how to use current software systems, DoveNet and RentalPoint, in addition to Microsoft
applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Receive incoming orders and ship them to clients.
- Receive incoming customer repairs, obtain RMA’s and ship repairs to authorized repair centres.
-Develop and maintain close working relations with Staff.
- Organize office operations and procedures ‐ file invoices, bills, documents and correspondence.
-Ensure the smooth running of the office on a day‐to‐day basis.
Qualifications
- 3‐5 years’ experience in Office Administration and Accounting.
- Prior experience in the AV industry is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, paying strict attention to detail at all times (following procedures
and documentation).
-Excellent oral and written communicator ‐ must be fluent in English.
- Able to learn new software programs quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and team communication skills, but also able to work independently.
- Must have initiative, a positive attitude, be self‐motivated and flexible.
- Able to manage internal and external communications with all staff and customers and remain
professional at all times.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
