This role will combine working on existing challenging projects with growing our presence in the Western Canada Region. Our diversified projects vary from asset management, integrated water management (water resources/stormwater management/green infrastructure), linear infrastructure (gravity sewers/pump stations/forcemains/trenchless/rehabilitation) as well as the design of other water systems.

Responsibilities
- Provide project management services, and overall execution of major water projects while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams in the preparation of design packages and participating in quality reviews.
- Take a leading role in business development initiatives, engaging existing and prospective clients and collaborating with our Pursuit Team in the development of high-quality, strategic proposals and new business.
- Retain, grow, and mentor new team members in a manner that aligns with the Water Team’s business objectives and the objectives of the new team member.
- Take responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of project performance, progress and quality.
- Support our existing clients and multi-disciplinary projects that are being completed within Western Canada and other Regions.
- Travel is expected to occur, as needed, and approximately no more than 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineer eligible for registration with APEGA. Professional Engineer in other provinces would be an asset.
- Minimum ten years of experience in a consulting environment delivering, with notable project management experience.
- Strong business development skills and established contacts with clients in the local market.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization in a collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, with a focus on mentoring junior and intermediate professionals.
