Our client, a leader in the retail industry, is looking for a Web Content Specialist who has a strong understanding of e-Commerce merchandising, to join their team for an initial 14 month contract.

Job Description

Responsibilities

· Working with Merchandising, Marketing and external partners, the Web Content Specialist will ensure product images, product information and recipe content is properly displayed on our platforms

· In partnership with IT, lead the development of integrations with new content providers or systems

· In close collaboration with Merchandising team and Supplier Partners, develop and execute online merchandising and promotional programs

· Analyze and improve E-commerce merchandising including measurement of product and category performance as well as E-commerce promotions

· Represent E-commerce and Mobile App team on key cross functional project and governance teams

· Participate and contribute to improving Site Search/Navigation improvement strategies


Job Requirements



If you have the following, we want to hear from you

· Ability to design, manage and analyze category plans for E-commerce

· Ability to design and negotiate promotional plans with Supplier Partners

· Strategic thinking ability

· Strong quantitative and analytics skills, as well as business acumen and sound judgment

· Ability to create business cases

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling presentations

· Ability to successful manage multiple stakeholder

· Ability to work independently

· Strong attention to detail

· 2-4 years E-commerce Merchandising/Category Management Experience (grocery industry experience an asset)

· College or University degree or related work experience

· Good knowledge of Google Analytics

· Bi-lingual (English/French) a definite asset

· Travel 10%-15%
