    CALLING ALL WELDER/FITTERS!!!

    Are you open to learning about new opportunities for welder/fitters in the Scarborough area? Do you have 3 or more years' experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding? Do you have the bonus skill set (not a must, but certainly an asset) of working with robotic welding systems (operating and programming)?     Responsibilities
    Here are a few of the responsibilities you might have:

    • Operating welding equipment
    • Performing cutting and welding of various metals
    • Programming and operating welding robots (if qualified)
    • Analyzing blueprints and schematics and welding process specifications
    • Following all health and safety procedures according to company specifications
    • Identifying issues and hazards
    • Operating grinders and other power/hand tools
    • Use of calipers, rulers, clamps, etc
    • Understanding and identifying which materials are needed for each job

    Qualifications
    Here are a few of the qualifications we're looking for:

    • Journeyman certification a HUGE asset (this is required for most of our clients)
    • MIG, TIG, Arc, or Stick welding experience (a combination of all is a big asset)
    • Ability to set up jigs
    • Programming ability for robotic welding (this experience is an asset and offers more opportunities)
    • Ability to weld a variety of metals
    • Ability to weld in all positions
