Are you looking for a long term welding/fitting, contract role?

This project is anticipated to run for up to 10 months, and will guarantee lots of work and overtime!

What will you be doing?

- MIG, FLUX, STICK welding
- interpreting blueprints, and fabricating to order
- cutting, fitting and laying out materials for welders
- building parts and pieces for a conveyor system
- set up and operate welding equipment
- welding both ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- using other machine shop equipment and hand tools
- if able, fabricating parts from blueprints
- operating jib and overhead cranes
- operating flame cutting equipment
- hard surfacing and reconstructing

Who are we looking for?

- welders with CWB tickets - expired tickets - also OK within 1 year
- 2+ years welding experience in a production or custom production environment
- 2+ years fabricating from blueprints (scratch)
- ability to read blueprints at a high level
- health and safety conscious workers
- incredible attendance
- dedicated and hard workers
- team players, great communicators
