    Our client in the Burlington area has partnered with Randstad Skilled Trades in their search for a Pressure Vessel Welder to join their team!

    Responsibilities
    What YOU will be doing as a Welder-Pressure Vessel in Burlington:
    - GTAW (TIG), FCAW (Flux Core) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes in both carbon and stainless steel
    - Use a welding torch and grinder
    - Prepare raw material (carbon, stainless steel and other alloys) for welding
    - Pass radiographic examinations on a consistent basis
    - Interpret fabrication drawings and sketches, read and understand welding procedure specifications
    - Use Jib-crane and forklift


    Qualifications
    What YOU bring to the role of Welder-Pressure Vessel in Burlington:
    - Must have experience in GTAW (TIG), FCAW (Flux Core) and GMAW (MIG) welding processes in both carbon steel (a must) and stainless steel (an asset)
    - Experience welding on a positioner (turntable) is a necessity
    - Must have experience welding pipe (open root), flanges, and fittings
    - Be able to interpret fabrication drawings and sketches, read and understand welding procedure specifications
    - Current TSSA tickets would be considered an asset
    - Knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and piping codes is considered an asset
    - Be able to work independently
    - High level of attention to detail, a strong work ethic and reliability
