Responsibilities
• Performs Pipe welding utilizing SMAW welding procedures
• Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, smooth, and
functional.
• Follows and adheres to the Parameters listed within the Welding Procedure (WPDS)
• Performs pipeline welding in both uphill and downhill progression using low hydrogen
electrodes
• Follow safety procedures and ensure welds follow accurate specifications

Qualifications
- Grade "B" Pressure Welder ticket
- Previous experience welding large diameter pipes
- Carbon Steel Performance Qualification ticket using SMAW process
- Previous welding experience in a
pipeline
