Responsibilities
- Perform all welding and fabrication to support production requirements including repairs to bins, equipment, and plant maintenance.
- Fabricate equipment and accessories for improved productivity as needed.
- Completion of necessary paperwork including work orders, log board entries, line book revisions as required in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement suggestions on the production line.
- Filling out parts used form No.PU021.
- Ensure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing part quality and delivery are understood and met
- Attend meetings as required
- Be responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks
- Ensure the shop environment is kept safe, clean and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniques
- Review project direction with Project Leader or Tool & Die Maker
Qualifications
- CWB Certified welder OR minimum 5 years welding experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
