Responsibilities
Collaborates with sales management to develop product-related presentations and demonstrations.
Presents technical information as needed during presentations.
Manages and organizes the inventory of the demo lab.
Assists in documenting software features, including the creation of videos and presentations.
Diagnoses programming issues related to company robotics equipment and application-specific software packages.
Ensures adherence to demonstration timelines.
Communicates any project/support deviations to sales management.
Provides support and documentation for sales opportunities from a product perspective, promoting clear global and local communication within the team and with customer.
Ensures engineering compliance with customer specifications and keeps the company aware of these specifications.
Supports regional Technical Support escalations involving system partners and customers, with the approval of the Sales Director.
Tests and verifies new software releases from Germany.
Encourages teamwork and cooperation among team members.
Maintains a clean, safe, and well-organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and utilizing appropriate safety equipment.
Adheres to the Quality Systems, identifies safety concerns, and actively participates in continual improvement.
Complies with all corporate policies, processes, procedures, and business guidelines.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a two-year welding degree, and two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of welding wave form characteristics, shielding gases, filler metals, and base materials.
Proficiency in reading welding drawings.
Familiarity with various welding industry codes, regulations, and certifications.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency in using the Internet.
Required Experience:
Welding techniques: TIG, GMAW, Plasma, Laser Hybrid.
Cutting methods: Plasma, Laser.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with AutoCAD.
