The role is temporary seasonal but could extend longer. The location is in southeast Calgary, and transit is accessible. The candidate must have top-notch experience driving a forklift and be comfortable using mechanical power tools.

Responsibilities
The duties will include:
• Operate a forklift to unload / load metal pipes from a flat deck truck
• Assisting mechanics and machinists with their duties
• Loading and unloading supplies from flat decks
• Using tools to assemble and disassemble mechanical and hydraulic products
• Ensuring that the shop remains tidy, organized, and clean
• Lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
• Working with your teammates to ensure the job is done in a timely manner
Qualifications
Experience you will need:
• Must have great experience on sit down counter balance forklift
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial setting. It will be an asset if you have mechanical skills or background (for example in a machine shop, auto shop, or manufacturing), • Able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Able to follow instructions
• Able to communicate well with colleagues
• A positive attitude, ready to work in a team as well as independently
