Yard Laborer
$22 - $25/hour
Acheson, AB

Seeking a yard laborer for a busy equipment yard in Acheson. If you are looking for a long term role where you can learn new skills and have steady and consistent work, then this is the place for you!

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- general yard and shop clean up and organization
- parts pickup and delivery
- loading and unloading trucks and trailers as well as load securement
- facility maintenance and repairs
- snow removal & lawn maintenance
- inspection and verification of incoming shipments
- maintenance and creation of shipping records as well as other paperwork
- operation of large forklifts and other equipment

Qualifications
- excellent operational knowledge of material handling equipment
- excellent customer service skills
- great team player
- excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office
- strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and operation
- clean drivers abstract and valid class 5 license
- high school or GED equivalent
