As a Forklift operator you will be accurately picking, prepping and packing products for shipment, loading and unloading trucks and supporting where needed as a floater.

This is a full-time, temporary to permanent employment opportunity
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 8:00AM-4:30PM
Wage: $23.00/H

Responsibilities
- Picking orders and preparing them for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, packing and crating products
- Accurately picking orders using a RF Scanner and with urgency
- Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or equipment
- Receiving and putting away received materials in the proper allocated areas
- Safety inspections of all warehouse equipment
- Participating in cleanup and maintenance of the facility and yard
- Performing other handling duties such as: counting, weighing, and sorting
- Once training is completed, you will be operating all equipment on site (Order Pickers & Reach Trucks)
- Inventory maintenance; cycle counts, annual inventory counts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, and are comfortable operating various types of machinery
- Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years of warehousing or yard experience
- Previous Sit Down Counterbalance or Reach Truck is considered an asset
- You are comfortable working outdoors for long periods and in varying working conditions
- Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
- Ability to meet physical requirements; lifting 30-40 pounds consistently, standing, pushing, bending
- Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
- Steel toe boots required
