Our client in Burlington is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team. The company specializes in the supply of equipment, engineering and design services for wallboard/drywall production. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with lots of room for growth.

Responsibilities
- Developing PLC Code
- Configuring PLC Hardware and programs ( ladder, structured text, function blocks)
- Designing and implementing PLC based controls systems for industrial equipment
- Developing HMI architecture. Installing HMI hardware and software
- Developing data base screens
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Safety risk assessment and design
Qualifications
- At least 7+ years with hands on experience as a control development and commissioning experience in a manufacturing environment
- MUST be able and comfortable with over international travel (30% of the job)
- Full understanding of Rockwell Software (ControlLogix, RSLinx, FTview), Siemens (Step 7 v5.5, TIA Portal, WinCC), Invensys Wonderware/Archestra, GE iFix, Ignition
- Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with programming/designing industrial robots, process controls, instrumentation and Functional Safety (TUV) design/ validation is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Electrical Engineering or related Degree
