Responsibilities
Project Management
• Overall project management associated with this specific initiative, following the established IMPMO processes
• Develop, execute and manage project plans and detailed work plans
• Identify, execute and manage risks and issues including pragmatic mitigation plans associated with this work
• Weekly status reporting and identify risks and issues and facilitate resolution
• Ensures Decisions tracked, signed and registered
• Detailed implementation plan for the project and its associated initiatives
• Work with stakeholder groups to identify, prioritize, and collect technical, business, and conformance requirements
• Execute based on the implementation plan, monitor and report on progress
• Manage and track project budget including but not exclusive of forecasting and control of costs
Governance – Stakeholder Engagement
• Ensure effective communication and escalation of risks and issues within the established project governance
• Facilitate project meetings and regular communications with governance committee and senior leadership
• Stakeholder engagement to ensure the appropriate inputs and validation including key decisions
• Develop detailed communications change management plan to communicate changes to all user groups including but not limited to internal support staff, internal clinical staff, community physicians, etc.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a PM role required
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, users, etc. required
• Experience working on large integration initiatives/projects required
• Experience working in healthcare in BC, preferred
• Experience working with provincial registries preferred
• Experience working with Health Information Exchanges preferred
• Experience working with a diverse group of clinical users, preferred
• Experience working with HL7, FHIR, APIs, etc. , preferred
• Experience working with EMPI and/or provincial registries, preferred
• Experience in navigating change in a clinical environment , preferred
• Experience working at Fraser Health, preferred
