Responsibilities
Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Test Execution: Develop and execute automated test scripts for complex, multi-tier banking systems and high-throughput payment processing rails.
End-to-Step Validation: Validate end-to-end transaction flows, including payment APIs, core ledger synchronization, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) system controls.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment and rapid release cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and regional stakeholders to translate business logic into detailed automated test scenarios.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, performing root-cause analysis on complex transaction processing issues.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Automation Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in software test automation utilizing Java and Selenium.
- Industry Domain: Strict requirement for prior experience working within banking or payment processing environments.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to participate in technical discussions and author documentation in both languages.
Preferred Technical Toolset:
- Strong proficiency with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
- Solid experience with REST Assured (or similar API testing tools).
- Familiarity with SQL and validating backend databases.
