Our Edmonton client is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst for an initial 6-month contract to join their Data Centre of Excellence and play a role in implementing an enterprise-wide data strategy. Responsibilities
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality data products, dashboards, and reports.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, quality audits, and statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Develop and share sophisticated data models and compelling data visualizations.
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative data to support strategic business planning.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define key metrics and outcomes.
• Effectively communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 5+ years of experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions, from requirements gathering to stakeholder communication.
• 5+ years of advanced, hands-on experience designing and developing complex Power BI solutions and dashboards.
• 5+ years of experience writing advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence functions.
• 5+ years of experience performing trend analysis and predictive analytics using Power BI and Azure tools.
