The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard, with a primary focus on operating a pressure washer to clean downhole motor components. You will also be involved in moving these components both manually and with the use of an overhead crane.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role. Reliable transportation is required to get to and from the worksite. If you are a hardworking individual who thrives in a physical environment, we encourage you to apply!
Advantages
- $23/hour
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Daytime hours - 7:00am to 4:30pm shifts
- Weekly direct deposit paid through Randstad
- 4% vacation pay on each deposit
Responsibilities
- Operating a pressure washer to clean downhole motor components and other equipment
- Manually moving and handling heavy components
- Utilizing an overhead crane to move heavy equipment (overhead crane experience is a strong asset)
- Performing general shop and yard cleanup duties
- Assisting with various other heavy general labour tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience doing heavy general labour in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Overhead crane experience is a significant asset
- Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking and lifting 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to work in variable weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attendance and reliability
