détails d'emploi
We are looking for a safety-first, detail-oriented Yard & Logistics Specialist to join our team . You aren't just moving material; you are the guardian of our inventory and the architect of every outbound load. From precision forklift operation to complex load planning, you ensure our products reach customers safely, efficiently, and in perfect condition.
...
Key Responsibilities
Precision Material Handling: Operate forklifts with expert care to load/unload trucks and production carts. You’ll manage everything from high-grade coils to delicate architectural components.
Strategic Load Planning: "Map" truck decks to ensure even weight distribution. You’ll coordinate with supervisors to maximize space while ensuring every load is balanced and secure.
Technical Yard Operations: Use chop saws and steel banding machines to secure inventory. You’ll ensure lifts are "squared up" and strapped tight to prevent shifting during transit.
Inventory Stewardship: Organize the yard and storage racks with a focus on product protection. You’ll master the art of rack placement—ensuring zero damage to equipment or materials.
Safety Leadership: Act as a front-line safety officer. This includes performing daily pre-trip equipment inspections (forklifts/saws), identifying hazards, and strictly adhering to PPE and "zero-harm" protocols.
The "Safety-First" Mindset
At Imperial, safety is non-negotiable. You will:
Ensure drivers are in designated safe zones during loading.
Manage coil stacking by size and weight to maintain structural integrity.
