Industrial Millwright / Maintenance Technician
Location: Edmonton, AB area
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (High flexibility available: open to 4x10s or shifted start/end times)

About the Opportunity
Our client is a recognized Canadian leader in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial products for critical fluid sealing processes. Serving major clients across the Refining, Chemical Process, and Power Generation industries, they are looking for a skilled Millwright or Maintenance Technician to step in and take ownership of their shop floor maintenance.
With a long-term incumbent departing on good terms this week, this is an urgent, immediate-hire role. The interview process is streamlined—just a quick, straightforward meet-and-greet with the management team.

Responsibilities
Acute Repair & Troubleshooting: Keep production moving by diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues on machinery as they arise.
Equipment Setup: Play a key role in installing and setting up new industrial machinery and shop equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Maintain and service existing assets—including a heavy focus on pump repairs and fluid systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Manufacturing Foreman to report concerns and ensure peak operational safety.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience working as a maintenance professional within a machine shop or manufacturing environment (experience with industrial sealing, gaskets, or pump-heavy environments is a massive asset).
The Right Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude. If you have a rock-solid mechanical foundation, the team is fully prepared to train you on their specific machinery.
Certification Status: Open to both Journeyman Ticketed Millwrights and Experienced Maintenance Technicians. (Note: There is currently no Journeyman on-site, so we cannot accommodate or sign off on hours for registered apprentices.)
