We are seeking a versatile Intermediate Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business leads, UX/service designers, and technical development squads. Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and working sessions with cross-functional business, architectural, and technical stakeholders.
Document business requirements (BRDs), functional and non-functional requirements (FRDs/NFRs), epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira and Confluence.
Collaborate closely with UX and service designers to translate user needs, wireframes, and content designs into clear business requirements.
Perform gap analyses and produce current-state and future-state process maps, system interaction models, and data flow diagrams.
Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, sprint planning, defining the "Definition of Done," and prioritizing user stories.
Partner with QA teams to validate requirement coverage, review test plans, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, requirements traceability matrices, RAID logs, and status reports.
Ensure all documented solutions align with organizational standards, security policies, and accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst in large, complex enterprise environments (Strictly Required).
Agile Methodology Proficiency: Demonstrated experience working in Agile project delivery models, actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Strictly Required).
Requirements & Analysis Expertise: Proven ability to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements, including epics, user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and NFRs (Strictly Required).
Process Modeling & Workflow Design: Strong skills in process mapping, workflow modeling, and producing current-state vs. future-state diagrams using tools such as Visio (Strictly Required).
Stakeholder Facilitation: Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and requirements sessions across multidisciplinary teams (Strictly Required).
UX Design Collaboration: Hands-on experience working closely with UX and service designers to document user needs from wireframes and content designs (Strictly Required).
Technical Toolset Proficiency: Hands-on experience using BA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and process mapping software.
Education: Post-secondary education in business, computer science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
