As a principal analyst, you will bridge the gap between technical security goals, financial business cases, and senior executive decision-making. Operating within a high-performing team environment, you will lead portfolio tracking, gather complex business requirements, analyze financial models, and author executive-ready dashboards. This position demands an adaptable, detail-oriented self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, manage stakeholder relationships, and translate organizational objectives into actionable operational strategies.

Contract Duration: 3-month contract (with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs and performance)

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust governance frameworks, processes, and reporting structures to enable operational transparency and data-driven decision-making.
Lead overall portfolio planning and execution tracking, establishing delivery cadences, managing interdependencies, and mitigating project risks.
Translate strategic team goals into actionable operational plans, monitoring progress metrics and adjusting strategies to maintain alignment.
Design, build, and present executive-ready dashboards and briefing materials that clearly communicate insights, progress, and strategic recommendations.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across business units and senior leaders to influence positive outcomes and drive alignment.
Gather detailed business requirements, construct business cases, and manage project financial tracking metrics.
Provide thought leadership and strategic advice, incorporating operational findings into long-term technology and security planning.
Analyze business processes and recommend capabilities that drive efficiencies, enhance performance, and support sustainable growth.
Adapt quickly to last-minute priorities, emerging regulatory changes, and evolving business needs within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Analytical Tenure
Professional Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in a Project Management, Business Analyst, or Information Security Analyst role.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
Business Case & Financial Modeling: Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, formulating business cases, and tracking financial metrics.
Governance & Executive Reporting: Proven ability to create governance structures, track portfolio progress, and design executive presentation materials.
Preferred Assets & Certifications
Professional Certifications: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered an asset.
Soft Skills & Professional Attributes
Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to engage and influence multi-tiered stakeholders.
Critical Thinking & Adaptability: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and adaptability when navigating ambiguous environments.
