Years of experience: 7-10 years
Payrate: $45- 47/hour
Hours of work: M- T 7am to 4:30pm + Fri 7am to 11:30am
(every Friday is a HALF DAY)

Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise electrical build projects on the shop floor, managing day-to-day tasks to ensure timelines, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Provide hands-on support with electrical wiring and installation for custom automated packaging equipment, ensuring all work adheres to blueprints and specifications.
• Mentor, train, and support electrical apprentices and junior electricians, fostering their professional development and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Interpret and work with complex electrical schematics and engineering specifications to accurately wire and install systems.
• Oversee the installation of all electrical systems, including conduit, panels, motors, transformers, and generators.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve electrical issues that arise during assembly and testing phases.
Qualifications
• Red Seal Certification as an Electrician (442A or 309A).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrician, including apprenticeship, with a strong background in the automation industry.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing electrical projects or teams in a manufacturing or automation setting.
• In-depth knowledge of AC/DC industrial wiring and electrical systems.
• Completion of electronics coursework related to PLCs; hands-on PLC wiring knowledge is a significant asset.
• Experience with pneumatics is a strong asset.
• The ability and willingness to travel occasionally within North America for on-site equipment support or installation supervision.
