Responsibilities
•Coordinate, prepare, and reconcile regulatory returns for OSFI, BoC, and CDIC at both consolidated and legal entity levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
•Complete regulatory filings due between October and December 2025, with responsibility for multiple monthly, quarterly, and year-end deliverables.
•Prepare and maintain process documentation, regulatory guidance, and operational procedures for assigned returns.
•Gather and consolidate financial information, conducting complex analysis on large datasets to identify patterns, trends, or insights.
•Analyze financial reports for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
•Investigate queries and resolve issues raised by internal and external stakeholders.
•Support cross-training and business continuity planning by sharing expertise across the team.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
•10+ years of experience completing regulatory filings for Canadian financial institutions.
•Direct experience with regulatory returns to OSFI, BoC, and StatsCan, including but not limited to: M4, K4, P3, A3, A4, A2/AS, S4, CS/S3, E2/ES, F9.
•Advanced Excel skills (expert proficiency) for financial modeling, reconciliation, and analysis.
•Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
•Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Nice-to-Have:
•Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in a financial institution context.
•Prior experience with internal TM1 system.
•Broader understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and filings.
