Are you looking to launch your career in the marine industry? We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Marine Technician (Junior / Apprentice Level) to join our client's growing Service Team. The successful candidate will assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of marine engines, boats, and related systems while gaining practical, on-the-job training.
Advantages

Responsibilities
• Assist senior technicians with marine engine diagnostics and repairs.
• Support routine maintenance and service work on outboard and inboard engines.
• Help with installation, inspection, and replacement of marine components.
• Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and rigging tasks under supervision.
• Assist in boat preparation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
• Support seasonal service work including winterizing and spring preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
• Participate in manufacturer and in-house training programs.
• Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Use tools responsibly and maintain proper care of company diagnostic equipment.
Qualifications
• Entry-level candidates and apprentices are encouraged to apply.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or technical aptitude preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in the marine industry.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Marine, automotive, or mechanical education/training is an asset but not mandatory.
• Experience working with tools and workshop equipment is preferred.
• Exposure to outboard engines (Yamaha, Suzuki, etc.) is an asset.
