Your Role
As Plant Manager, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:
- Lead all plant operations to achieve safety, quality, production, and financial objectives.
- Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership and accountability.
- Improve reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance, planning, scheduling, and root cause analysis.
- Optimize paper machine performance, equipment uptime, productivity, and product quality.
- Manage plant financial performance, including labor, maintenance, fiber, chemical, and energy costs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven problem-solving methods.
- Develop leadership, technical, and hourly teams.
- Build and execute recovery plans for underperforming operations with measurable business impact.
What you bring
You're a natural fit for Plant Manager if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in tissue, paper, pulp, or related process industries.
- Experience leading paper machine operations and delivering performance improvements.
- Success managing operational turnarounds and improving underperforming facilities.
- Strong knowledge of papermaking processes, maintenance and reliability systems, continuous improvement, and plant financial management.
- Ability to lead large teams, develop talent, and drive organizational change.
- Tissue manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience from Operations or Production Management into Plant or Mill Leadership.
