We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-year security and network modernization initiative. This role focuses on implementing a robust, multi-layered security platform. You will be responsible for directing network teams and vendors to deliver secure connectivity (WAN/LAN, MPLS, and VPN) that integrates these facilities with a centralized Security Control Centre.

Pay Rate: $65.12- $71.8/Hr

Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, including the development of charters, detailed scope requirements, and complex project plans.
- Direct network provider teams and field technicians to deliver connectivity at a number of sites, including coordinating site access, conduit installation, and engineering reviews.
- Oversee project budgets, perform financial modeling (Cash Flow, NPV, ROI), and manage procurements, contract negotiations, and vendor payments.
- Chair project committees and steering forums, presenting progress reports and driving critical decision-making with executive and senior management.
- Lead the preparation of formal contractual documents (RFP/RFS, SOW, SLA, MOU) and manage vendor performance against contract terms.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues; manage formal change requests regarding scope, timelines, and budget.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of assigned technical project staff and consultants.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing.
- Proven track record managing large-scale network implementations involving WAN/LAN, MPLS, Software-Defined Networks (SDN), and VPNs across multiple locations.
- Extensive experience managing IT projects in complex, multi-departmental environments, adhering to PMI principles and standards.
- Familiarity with architecture design, advanced routing/switching (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet), and high-availability planning.
- Considerable experience in contract negotiations, procurement procedures, and managing third-party delivery teams.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software to track critical paths and resource allocation.
