Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning: Lead test planning at the team level, ensuring in-scope and out-of-scope items are clearly defined, and stories in Scrum refinements contain clear acceptance criteria.
Test Design & Execution: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements; execute both manual and automated test suites.
Automation Implementation: Identify automation opportunities, implement testing frameworks, and develop automated scripts for various test types.
Test Data & Compliance: Condition and generate test data, design compliant test data setups, and assist in identifying and managing sensitive data across all test environments.
Defect Management & Traceability: Record and communicate test results, participate in defect triaging, create/manage forward and backward traceability to requirements, and assist with code promotion steps to higher environments.
Test Suite Maintenance: Catalog and maintain organized test suites across all testing phases (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc.).
Qualifications
Experience: 5–7 years of total QA/software testing experience.
Automation Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
Methodologies & Tools: Strong proficiency with Agile methodologies, Jira, ALM tools, and testing processes.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL query building and API testing.
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience within the Banking / Financial Services domain.
Core Java development experience.
Familiarity with Micro Focus ALM Octane.
