We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Developer to support a major enterprise transformation project involving the migration and optimization of financial systems from legacy environments to a modern cloud-based platform. This role requires a technical expert capable of navigating both the current architecture and the new ecosystem during critical post-implementation and sustainment phases. Pay Rate:$70.23- $76.92/Hr

Responsibilities
- Design, document, and develop complex objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows) across both modern and legacy systems, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Participate in all software development lifecycle stages, including planning, requirements gathering, design, unit testing, and maintenance.
- Lead investigation and remediation for technical objects during testing and hypercare cycles, escalating issues with vendors when necessary.
- Design and implement processes for monitoring and error handling to ensure long-term stability of developed objects.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer sessions and hands-on coaching to internal developers to enable independent sustainment of the new system.
- Perform comprehensive code and QA reviews for internal and external partner deliverables to maintain technical excellence.
- Regularly report on status and provide recommendations to streamline development while ensuring deliverables remain on time and on budget.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in specialized development (including modern syntax and objects) spanning the full spectrum of technical objects.
- Proven experience with modern development tools (Eclipse ADT, BAS), integration methods (APIs, OData, REST), and advanced programming models (RAP, CDS).
- Deep experience in both legacy and modern enterprise environments, specifically within core financial and procurement modules.
- Expert knowledge of the full SDLC and various project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Expertise in UI/UX application development, automated workflow design, and modern reporting techniques (Embedded Analytics/Cloud Analytics).
- Proficiency in project management and change management tools such as Jira, Solution Manager, and Quality Center software.
- Strong ability to document technical specifications and present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
