Our Calgary client is embarking on a major business transformation with the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, and we are seeking a visionary Data Lead to oversee this critical initiative on an initial 12-month contract. Advantages
• Lead the data strategy for a major, enterprise-wide SAP S/4 HANA transformation.
• Hold a high-visibility role, acting as the key liaison between business, IT, and implementation partners.
• Build and implement a new data governance framework from the ground up.

Responsibilities
• Define and own the end-to-end data strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.
• Oversee all project data workstreams, including migration, cleansing, validation, and cutover.
• Establish and enforce master data standards and data quality metrics for SAP.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional data team consisting of internal staff and system integrators.
• Ensure legacy data is accurately mapped to new SAP S/4 HANA data models.
• Collaborate with business process leads and solution architects to align data models with functional requirements.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks to ensure successful project milestones and go-live.
Qualifications
• Senior-level experience planning and executing data migrations for large-scale ERP implementation projects.
• Proven expertise in establishing data governance frameworks and deploying enterprise data strategies.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex, data-centric initiatives.
• Proficiency with a variety of data management tools, data modeling, and data integration technologies.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
