This is a contract opportunity for a Business Analyst - Senior with a duration of 1 year. The position is based in Toronto and operates on a hybrid model, with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote (subject to change). Responsibilities
- Promote the implementation and governance of PMO frameworks, policies, and tools through strategic action plans, communication, and change management.
- Lead the analysis of PMO functions and tools to ensure continuous improvement and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor the IT business unit's performance.
- Support project management and governance, ensuring process consistency and appropriate risk management.
- Assist in managing strategic budgets, tracking business benefits, and preparing capital funding requests.
- Provide project management oversight, including tracking and reporting on the status of the project portfolio.
- Manage staff augmentation reporting and monitor the staff augmentation program.
- Support strategic communications and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and promote best practices.
- Develop performance reporting packages, including scorecards and dashboards, to provide insights into IT performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in promoting and implementing PMO frameworks and policies.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in analyzing PMO functions, processes, and tools for continuous improvement.
- A minimum of 7+ years of project management delivery experience, especially with operational readiness, testing, and quality assurance.
- Completion of a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience in strategic business and risk management, as well as financial processes like budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficiency with tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
