Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leads, architects, developers, and UX/UI designers to elicit and analyze complex requirements, including functional, integration, data, and non-functional specifications.
- Partner with primary care vendors and product owners to create, refine, and update user stories; manage and prioritize the product backlog using Agile techniques.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, ensuring clear agendas, comprehensive minutes, and diligent follow-up on action items.
- Document business and system solutions using Agile methodologies and support the development of end-to-end functional test scripts.
- Assist with project initiation and governance reporting; identify risks, assumptions, and constraints while communicating impact to internal and external stakeholders.
- Define and report on performance and customer experience metrics, working closely with Project Managers to optimize team productivity and quality.
- Actively contribute to sprint reviews, product demonstrations, and retrospectives to ensure iterative success.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst specifically within Healthcare IT projects.
- 3+ years of experience working on medium-to-high complexity Agile initiatives.
- Proven experience within the Public Sector Healthcare environment is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of provincial healthcare systems and familiarity with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence; knowledge of Cloud technologies is a strong asset.
- University degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. CBAP or PMI-PBA certification is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple high-pressure assignments simultaneously.
