We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions. This role is focused on the modernization of reporting capabilities, where you will be responsible for creating robust semantic layers, schemas, and interactive dashboards. Pay Rate: $65.12-$71.8/Hr

Responsibilities
- Design, model, and maintain advanced datasets and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develop data cubes and schemas, ensuring effective interfacing between platforms and data warehouse solutions.
- Configure and administer environments, implementing deployment pipelines and managing workspace/user best practices.
- Partner with business analysts and technical teams to convert high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Produce comprehensive documentation—including schemas and technical manuals—aligned with Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
- Assist and support end users with platform navigation and provide accurate time estimates for ongoing development tasks.
- Research emerging trends and share technical knowledge to enhance the capabilities of the Enterprise Data platform.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer and Architect, with extensive hands-on experience in building semantic layers and dashboards.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Synapse, and SQL Server (2019 or later) within large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with deployment pipelines and environment administration; experience with MicroStrategy (2020 or later) is considered a strong asset.
- Expert understanding of data modelling techniques and the ability to solve complex data problems through deep analysis.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Awareness of accessibility requirements and human rights standards pertaining to public-facing services.
