We are looking for a Senior Data Science Developer for a hybrid role, working 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Azure environment and a strong background in data engineering. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data solutions, with a focus on migrating and modernizing data pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Participate in product teams to analyze system requirements and implement cloud-based data and analytics products.
- Design, create, and maintain cloud-based data lake and lakehouse structures.
- Build and orchestrate automated data pipelines, primarily using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
- Support the migration of legacy data pipelines to modern Databricks-based solutions.
- Develop and maintain standardized, reusable frameworks for pipeline creation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide knowledge transfer to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an Azure environment.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering using ADF and Databricks.
- 5+ years of programming experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Delta Lake.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like GitHub.
- Background in organizing data using the medallion architecture and Databricks Unity Catalog is a plus.
