Are you a skilled Technical Business Analyst ready to make a significant impact? Our Edmonton client is undertaking a monumental government-wide content transformation, including a massive migration of over 18,000 sites to SharePoint Online. They are seeking a Business Analyst for an initial 7-month contract to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring the seamless transition of critical content services during a major organizational restructure. Responsibilities
• Provide technical and information management guidance to support enterprise content services.
• Analyze and coordinate IT changes resulting from government reorganization and program moves.
• Lead consultations, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain project documentation, provide status reports, and escalate unresolved risks.
• Offer technical advice and recommendations to project teams, operations, and management.
• Ensure project deliverables align with scope, timelines, and operational best practices.
Qualifications
• A university degree, diploma, or certificate in a related discipline combined with 4 to 7 years of Business Analyst experience, or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst translating business needs into technical requirements within enterprise IT and content management environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating projects and leading technical teams in a large, complex organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience defining project scope and gathering requirements from a diverse range of business stakeholders.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing system and technical design specifications for complex Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems.
