We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Senior Program Manager to develop and manage a portfolio plan for the integration of Emergency Management Services data with a Provincial Electronic Health Record. Responsibilities
- Develop a portfolio plan and associated costing for the integration of Emergency Management Services data with the Provincial Electronic Health Record.
- Forecast, monitor, and report on project budgets within the portfolio.
- Engage with vendors and stakeholders to manage client relationships and expectations.
- Facilitate the execution of applicable contractual agreements.
- Gather requirements and create detailed project schedules and integrated plans.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, recommending mitigation strategies for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with clinical, architecture, standards, privacy, and security teams to refine business requirements.
- Facilitate end-user training and develop support materials.
- Develop and maintain project status reports and deployment tracking logs.
- Ensure pre-go-live readiness and manage change to overcome resistance.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience with project management concepts, including project goals, risk, scope, and planning.
- 8-10 years of experience managing electronic health-related projects, with a focus on deploying clinical software systems.
- Proven knowledge of workflows and business processes within Emergency services, hospitals, and health records.
- Experience with forecasting, monitoring, and reporting dedicated project budgets.
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in matrix organizational environments.
- Professional certifications such as PMP are desirable.
- Knowledge of privacy policies and legislative processes (HPPA, FIPPA, PHIPA) is essential.
