Responsibilities
- Design and develop front-end code, focusing on interactive user elements, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Build robust applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js to ensure fast page loads and optimized performance.
- Apply working knowledge of Jamstack architecture and integrate with Headless Content Management Systems.
- Build and test RESTful APIs and integrate front-end functionality with IAA systems such as Azure AD B2C or Okta Authentication.
- Create essential user journey functionality, including login pages, profile creation, customer notifications, and self-service sign-up modules.
- Conduct unit testing, front-end debugging, and page load optimization to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, managing tasks via Kanban boards and integrating code through modern CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
Qualifications
- Advanced experience with React framework, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and modern CSS Frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap).
- Proven experience with Jamstack and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms and version control (Git).
- Solid experience building, testing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and WCAG standards.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues during implementation or migration.
