As a Senior Software Developer, you will bridge the gap between user-centered interface design, middleware services, and enterprise back-office applications. Operating fully onsite in Toronto, you will lead the design and development of modern, accessible web portals using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, integrating directly with enterprise middleware (MuleSoft) and CRM back-office platforms (Microsoft Dynamics CRM). This position demands a seasoned development authority with extensive full-lifecycle software delivery tenure, robust modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework expertise, and a commitment to delivering accessible, responsive, and resilient enterprise applications.

Responsibilities
Translate complex business requirements and functional specifications into scalable, secure, and fully responsive web applications.
Lead the end-to-end frontend architecture, design, and implementation of public-facing registration and permit web portals using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Design and implement clean, reusable UI components adhering to modern responsive design principles, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend design systems.
Integrate frontend applications with enterprise back-office systems (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) via RESTful APIs and MuleSoft middleware services.
Ensure all digital interfaces strictly adhere to accessibility regulations and web standards, including WCAG and AODA compliance.
Apply object-oriented principles, modern design patterns, and clean code methodologies across the entire application lifecycle.
Utilize asynchronous reactive programming techniques with RxJS alongside Node.js/NPM tooling for optimized state management and performance.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to intermediate and junior developers, conducting design walkthroughs and code reviews.
Coordinate technical delivery with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, quality assurance analysts, and business stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application bugs, frontend performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
Maintain version control best practices and release management workflows utilizing Git.
Author detailed technical documentation, component architecture designs, and implementation runbooks to support ongoing platform sustainment.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Frontend Engineering Requirements
Enterprise Development Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of professional experience as a software designer and developer building large-scale, multi-tier web applications.
Modern JavaScript & TypeScript: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise web solutions using TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
React Ecosystem: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience building component-driven frontends using React, supported by hands-on delivery experience with Next.js and Vue.js.
Web Fundamentals & Styling: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on expertise with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web design frameworks.
Package Management & Tooling: Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Node.js environments and NPM.
Reactive & Asynchronous Programming: Minimum 5+ years of experience utilizing RxJS and modern state management patterns.
API Integration: Proven expertise integrating user interfaces with RESTful APIs, web services, and enterprise middleware layers.
Version Control: Minimum 3+ years of experience using Git for source code control and collaborative branching strategies.
