We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead end-to-end human-centered UX research, service design, and digital experience creation for complex enterprise platforms. In this role, you will transform business requirements, user insights, and complex operational needs into intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital solutions. Working within a collaborative Agile delivery framework, you will lead user research, stakeholder workshops, usability testing, and design validation while creating user journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that strictly adhere to accessibility standards and design system guidelines.

Location: Toronto, ON (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week required)

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end UX research and design activities across the full product lifecycle, from initial discovery and research through prototyping, testing, implementation, and continuous iteration.
Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including user interviews, co-design workshops, surveys, and usability tests, translating findings into actionable design insights.
Create comprehensive design artifacts, including personas, customer journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture maps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
Design accessible and intuitive digital interfaces by applying human-centered design principles, digital design system guidelines, and strict AODA / WCAG accessibility standards.
Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional Agile teams to align business objectives with end-user needs.
Establish UX performance metrics, conduct continuous usability evaluations, and provide strategic advisory on digital experience standards and service design best practices.
Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions, synthesize requirements, manage design backlogs in Azure DevOps, and support sprint planning and user acceptance activities.
Qualifications
UX Research & Design Seniority: 5+ years of dedicated experience leading human-centered UX research and design for complex digital products and services (Strictly Required).
User Research & Insights: Demonstrated expertise planning and conducting user interviews, workshops, surveys, usability tests, and translating findings into design recommendations (Strictly Required).
End-to-End Design & Prototyping: Proven experience creating personas, user journeys, service blueprints, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Figma (Strictly Required).
Design System & Accessibility Standards: Hands-on experience aligning digital solutions with established public design systems and accessibility requirements (AODA / WCAG 2.0 AA) (Strictly Required).
Agile & DevOps Ecosystems: Practical experience delivering UX design within Agile, Scrum, Lean, or DevOps delivery frameworks using tools like Azure DevOps (Strictly Required).
Public Sector / Transformation Scope: Hands-on involvement in public sector digital service delivery or enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives (Strictly Required).
