Position: Millwright/ Apprentice
Payrate: $35-45 (depending if fully ticketed or in an apprenticeship)
Location: Paris, ON
Shift: Straight Days - Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
If you have prior experience working with laser cutting machines, fabrication presses, plastic and/or metal experience or have work with digital press machines, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: Execute routine inspections and complex repairs on high-speed manufacturing machinery.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical systems and electrical components, including relays, motors, and contactors.
Fabrication & Machining: Utilize shop tools, including lathes, mills, and welding equipment (Gas/Arc), to repair or create custom parts as needed.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain digital maintenance logs and ensure all work adheres to the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and internal safety standards.
Safety Leadership: Active participation in a culture of safety, utilizing WHMIS and Working at Heights protocols to minimize workplace risk.
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements
Certification: Red Seal Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) designation is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years within a manufacturing or industrial production facility.
Electrical Aptitude: A firm understanding of industrial electrical systems and basic wiring logic.
Tool Proficiency: Proven experience with precision machining and various welding techniques.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Education: High School Diploma supplemented by post-secondary training in Industrial Mechanics or a related trade.
