Design System Migration & Architecture: Assess existing assets; migrate, structure, and maintain the design system in Figma using reusable components, variables, design tokens, and clear documentation.
Governance & Workflows: Establish scalable governance models, naming conventions, team contribution workflows, and Figma environment organization for long-term sustainability.
UX/UI & Prototyping: Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive, high-fidelity prototypes for responsive digital services and web applications.
Accessibility & UX Best Practices: Design user-centered, responsive experiences compliant with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to validate requirements, refine solutions, and iterate on designs.
Developer Collaboration: Support seamless developer handoff by providing design guidance, specs, and implementation support.
Team Enablement: Deliver training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to internal staff to support ongoing platform maintenance and growth.

Must-Have:
Expert-level proficiency in Figma (component libraries, variables, prototyping, and developer handoffs).
Demonstrated track record of building, scaling, and maintaining design systems.
Strong UX/UI design capabilities with experience creating interactive prototypes for stakeholder review and testing.
In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA).
Experience partnering with development teams through design implementation.
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A portfolio showcasing relevant design system, UX/UI, and prototyping work is strongly encouraged.
Assets (Nice-to-Have):
Experience migrating legacy design assets or front-end libraries into Figma.
Experience establishing design system governance, documentation, and contribution models.
Background in delivering digital training, coaching, or enablement programs.
Prior experience in public-sector, regulated, or accessibility-focused organizational environments.
