Responsibilities
CNC Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machinery to perform high-precision milling, drilling, and cutting of metal components.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to execute precise fabrications.
Quality Assurance: Utilize precision measuring instruments—such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges—to inspect parts and ensure strict dimensional accuracy.
Production Logging & Organization: Maintain an organized workstation and accurately document production metrics, cycle times, and machine performance logs.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and PPE protocols to support a safe, zero-incident workplace.
Qualifications
Proven Experience: Direct, hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and manufacture components from complex industrial blueprints and technical drawings.
Precision & Quality Focus: Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Physical Capability: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Communication Skills: Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal) to understand machinery operations, safety documentation, and team communications.
