• Wireless, designs, manufacture and services, radio remotes to control various industrial applications, such as a concrete pumper truck’s boom, skid steers, boat lifts and the operation of tow
• This position will involve troubleshooting and understanding of a technical aspects of radio remotes and their applications to determine device faults and possible solutions, followed by the quoting and lastly the repair of radio remotes and vehicle control systems.
• The position will also involve phone support assisting customers and the occasional support of our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• This position will involve troubleshooting and understanding of a technical aspects of radio remotes and their applications to determine device faults and possible solutions, followed by the quoting and lastly the repair of radio remotes and vehicle control systems.

Basic Qualifications:
• Electronics Engineering Technology Program or certification required
• Minimum three years experience in electronics, testing and repairing.
• Hands-on experience with testing.
• Basic computer literacy required including, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Proficient in speaking and written English
Position Criteria:
• Experience with low voltage DC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical connections and their characteristics, applications, and limitations.
• Knowledge of conductor sizing and ampacity calculations.
• Ability to crimp automotive-style connectors.
• Must have excellent skills and experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience analyzing analog & digital circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and their characteristics, applications, and limitations.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Exceptional trouble shooting skills using a DMM, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Able to build & test prototypes, jigs, and new applications.
• Strong electrical prototyping skills with tools such as: wire strippers, wire and lug crimpers, connector insertion and extraction tools and soldering systems.
• Knowledge of electronic testing and assembly.
• Able to hand solder fine pitched components.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with a team and individually.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good listening skills.
• Fantastic phone manners.
• Demonstrated capability for critical thinking.
• Be able to write, edit and correct application manuals.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
