Responsibilities
- To report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor on an ongoing basis and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to the shipment and delivery of finished goods for customers as well as arranging the shipment of the finished product to company warehouse facilities in Calgary, Alberta, and Cleveland, Ohio (Toronto DC Team).
- To liaise and collaborate with Management, Line and Non-Management staff at all levels in an advisory capacity on matters pertaining to shipment of customer orders and finished products.
- To manually pick orders from the warehouse according to purchase order requirements and prepare orders for shipment.
- To check finished product shipped to Toronto and/or Calgary from Cleveland/Toronto for damage and report damage accordingly.
- To operate and maintain forklifts and the company shrink-wrap machine ensuring that vehicles are serviced with sufficient oil and water levels.
- To operate wrapping machine.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a shipper and/or receiver in a DC/Warehouse, a recent experience shipper/receiver in any warehouse or industrial facility is a plus.
- Minimum basic computer skills required.
- Must hold a valid tow motor license including Counterbalance tow motors.
- The ability to lift 50lbs, but too much lifting is not required.- Minimum of 12 months experience as a shipper and/or receiver in a DC/Warehouse, a recent experience shipper/receiver in any warehouse or industrial facility is a plus.
- Minimum basic computer skills required.
- Must hold a valid forklift license including Counterbalance license.
- The ability to lift 50lbs, but too much lifting is not required.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit.
