Pharmacy Assistant - 1-month Assignment

We are seeking candidates in the Calgary area who are available to start immediately for a 1-month contract. Pharmacy Students available for summer hours who have PA experience are very welcome!

- 1-month temporary assignment, full time
- Monday to Friday from 10am - 6pm (training initially will be 8am - 4pm then you would shift to 10am - 6pm)

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistant - Calgary, AB - Healthcare

- Wearing PPE to maintain sterile conditions in cleanroom staging area
- Staging items to go into cleanroom
- Checking & verifying orders
- Decontamination of the medication bags
- Other duties as required to support workflow


Qualifications

- Past experience in a pharmacy setting (experienced Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Student)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent service
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
- Strong organization and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable handling medications (non-cytotoxic)
- Being proactive and taking initiative
