The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Mobile Development Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the mobile experience using the Flutter framework. You will work on high-impact features that help millions of users lead healthier lives.
While Flutter is the primary tool, our client values engineers with a strong foundation in native development (iOS/Android) and a "full-stack" mindset toward problem-solving.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Feature Ownership: Own the full mobile development lifecycle—from initial concept to polished release on both iOS and Android.
High-Quality Engineering: Write clean, scalable, and high-performance Dart code.
System Integration: Partner with backend teams to ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs and internal services.
Technical Leadership: Shape the app’s technical roadmap, contributing to architecture decisions and establishing best practices.
Mentorship: Participate in thoughtful code reviews and help level up junior developers on the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and QA to deliver intuitive features that delight a global user base.
Release Management: Support end-to-end deployment, including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring in the App Store and Google Play.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in mobile or full-stack software development.
Technical Depth: A strong understanding of client-server communication and mobile-friendly APIs.
Design Sensibility: A firm grasp of mobile UI/UX best practices and performance optimization.
Process Knowledge: Familiarity with modern testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and app store release processes.
Autonomy: Proven ability to lead projects independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
Direct experience building and shipping apps using Flutter (Dart).
Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
A personal interest or professional background in nutrition, fitness, or health tech.
Summary
Compensation & Perks
Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 per year + Employee Bonus Program.
